Hi

Noticed if I get past 100(private road of course), the drivers window leans out at the top and pops from underneath the door seal. If I put the window down then back up the window goes back to the popped out position. I've got to stop, open the door the window drops automatically and goes back to the normal position again once I shut the door. Its really annoying, if I open the window at 90+ and then try and close it, the top of the window splays out again and misses the seal.

Anybody else get this?
Is it a dealer job?

got the same problem, if your as handy as andy, well you can fix it yourself by taking the door card out and adjusting the runners so the window points inwards more, if your not to sure take it to your dealer and it should only take the 30 mins!

the fix depends on which runners / brackets you have in the door.

Agree that it's probably a self fix, moving the bracket around to make the window more secure.

If you have an early Tamora (like mine) the internals of the door are a bit crappy and not strong enough to hold the frame - I suspect this is the issue rather than the alignment

have a look inside - only 3 little bolts under the door to remove the card.

cheers

We had the same problem. The factory replaced the seals at the last service and it has been fine ever since.

Haven't looked at the door properly yet, but can't see any obvious way of removing the door panel or screws, where do I start?

under the door there are some plastic clear gromets, take the off and you will have access to the 3 cross screws, take these screws out and the door card will come out.

Thought I'd update anyone who is interested of my progress, When I removed the dood panel I saw a supporting bracket had snapped, I've made a new one and installed, every thing is fine now.

Now the only thing is, I'm might have to get rid the car the wife is not taking to it at all, its spoiling the whole experince for me. I could just get rid of the wife instead
Really am gutted because it's the best one I've seen and a keeper.

Don't do it Bumcrack, you'll regret losing the Tam. What on earth will you get to replace it? If it's the window/roof you are worried about, you've been quite lucky - some have lost their entire roof at speed and had the driver window shatter! Take a look at this thread: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=106704&f=7&h=0
But perhaps you shouldn't mention that to the missus!

Adam - was it a glued in bracket at the bottom? I think that was a dodgy fix on early cars as mine was similar. I rebuilt the whole thing earlier this week and it's sweet now.

Getting rid of a Tam sems to be a big problem - I have mine advertised and some muppet offered me 19 grand as a trade in on a new car.
