To the best of my knowledge the rack is tvr's own with ford track rods. Wether it's someone else's insides in the tvr cast outer I don't know.

Its based on the old vauxhall chevette design. Ford track rod fitted and extensions fitted to inner balljoints to space them out further. Some mention has been mentioned of Lotus bits as well but I don't know anything about that or if its true.

This is going to sound funny but:
A guy over to look at teh Chimaera in an Aldi car park in South Wales and he said he used to work for a power steering manufacturer in South Wales, now closed down and he mentioned that they used to make / modify steering racks for TVR, i.e. TVR were their customer, so I think they were either made specifically for TVR or modified for TVR, so if this guy was correct, you won't be able to fit one from another vehicle.

Indeed - allegedly the Chim/Griff steering rack was the first of TVR's 'own' mechanicals...

..which leaves anyone needing a new one somewhat in the sh!t...

IMO the real question is - what else can be used to replace the now-unavailable units..? (both PAS and non-PAS)
