We have been advised that the DVLA have issued all Evoke V5 documents with Red in the Colour description rather than Grey.
Note only complete V5's should be sent and not ones currently being processed or Owners being swapped etc

I have spoken with the relevant department and can advise if you send your V5 document ( Registered Post so it doesnt get lost ) to :-

Reg Data
UK1-103-310
Vauxhall Motors
Griffin House
Osborne Road
Luton
LU1 3YT

Any problems or questions on this Please PM me

Had a parking ticket a few months back stating my car was red ( which it isn't)

I'll check my paperwork tonight.

There it is in black and white - my EVOKE is listed as RED - thank you very much.

I am visiting Motorbodies this Friday, so do you think I could hand deliver a letter across the road at the factory?

I returned my V5 to the DVLA last year for the correction to be made from red to grey stating that it was incorrect at first registration. The amended V5 was returned no problem.

Returned my v5 when I first bought the car last year as it said red. DVLA insisted on a letter from Vauxhall which was issued after a bit of prompting. Thought I must have been a one off but glad to hear all Evoke owners were affected!

Just stumbled across this. had a new V5 turn up the other day for no apparent reason. Checked my previos v5 and it does indeed list the car as red! New V5 shows as grey now.

Thanks to Dougie, i think he's sorted it out fot all of us, but i think DVLA may cock it all up again, after getting my new V5C with colour Grey, i received a letter saying they had just sent me a new V5C but i needed to return it and a second one will be sent out in the correct colour, i assume they want to respray my car red again, well they can bugger off , stupid bureaucrats im hoping its just a badly written letter
