I am still messing around with the notion that I would like to change the 16'' D90 wheels on my 964.
Will a std Boxster wheel 17'' ET48 & ET55 have the same stud pattern as my car? I believe they should fit under the arches of a moderately lowered car? I have tried in vain to upload an image of my wheels in the arch but it won't load. My car has been lowered by approx 30mm.
Thanks.

Yep Steve, they'll go on no problem, Boxster and 911 pcds are identical. Really, cup1s are the way to go on a 964 and although they're getting a bit rarer these days, they still crop up on Ebay etc. quite often for £700 - £800. Would usually require a refurb on top of that though. I'm always watching as I should really stick a set away, as they were oem on my 964 but, I prefer what's on mine at the mo, so I'm in no rush.

Thanks Marky.
This then begs the question - does anyone have a good set of OEM Cup 1's they want to sell me (not sure of original offsets or widths!)
P.s Can anyone tell me what dimensions are on the 964RS wheels?
Regards

The 964 cup 1 wheel is i think the same size as the 993 cup 2 so that's
7j x17 et 55 up front 9j x17 et 55 rear
Not sure if the RS ran a 7.5j front? But then there were also "cup" cup1's which were 8j and 10j ?? I think.
But yes cup1's are the only 17" OE wheel that should be put on a 964

I agree, Cup 1's look fab. 993 wheels just don't work, but Cup 1's are bloody heavy though. 18" speedlines ?
