From next Monday (31st) the tea boxes (aka cheap watch boxes) are back http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/... Been waiting for these to come back in for some time, got one last time they sold them, bought some cheap watch pillows on ebay and it looks very good, amazing for the money.

Nice idea! Have been wondering what to do for my watch storage. Only problem is I only have 3 wrist watches and a pocket watch which means I'll HAVE to buy a new one to fill this up wink

Thanks for the tip.

Being serious for a moment good shout on the tiny pillow cases. I went for the pipe cladding approach. It looks a bit of a mess. I'll definitely be buying these to replace it.

Excellent idea - off to Lidl on Monday for me. It'll have some empty space too, only one way to fix that smile

I've bought two of these so thanks for the heads up to the OP.

I have plans for them... going to try and spray them to a high gloss 'piano black' finish.

Build thread will follow of course.

Just grabbed one.

Pretty impressed actually. Far better quality than I expected.

Just need to order some cushions and find a few cut offs to fit my box out completly!

Speaking of which - has anyone already ordered some cushions from ebay and have any reccomendations on which ones fit well?
