Boot solenoid

The search function doesn't seem to be working so bear with me! Sorry if this sounds stupid or obvious but I am an electrical numpty.

My boot solenoid has finally given up the ghost. The one I have bought to replace it (from a Ford Puma) seems to have 2 wires with one which I am assuming goes to the switch, is this correct? (see below)

From memory, both wires from the solenoid should attach to the same 2 pin plug. Make sure you get them connected the right way round so the solenoid operates in the right direction.

Thanks, I haven't had a chance to look at the old one as it's still in the car, just thinking it through.

Any idea where to get the connectors from?

try Maplins or RS components for the connectors or pins
