Firstly, I know Facebook is not everyone's cup of tea. But I am having issues logging on, I get the following messages :

I don't want to download McAfee, I just want to either get into my account of get an email address for Facebook to cancel it. Can anyone help with either of these?

Not something with which I'm familiar, but googled your problem: click. Appears to be genuine, maybe?

Sounds like a trojan or similar, I’d be suspicious and run some antivirus/malware stuff.

Thanks, running Norton now. It looks legit, from the link. I found other people having the same issue through google, but couldn't get to that page on Facebook.

I have run Norton and still can't logon.

I have checked again and Facebok decided to let me on again. Odd, but thaks for the tips
