Pic of the Week: Yankee muscle reborn

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 gets its time in the sun

We'll keep POTW brief this week. Nice car, sympathetic light, good setting: great desktop wallpaper.

Okay, perhaps that's a little too brief, as it might be worth explaining that we've been getting sufficiently excited about the gallery pics of the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that we published earlier this week as to feel the need to create a PH-ised one for the various PHHQ desktops.

And if we're doing it for ourselves, we might as well share the wallpaper love.

Talking of wallpaper love, we've tweaked the various size options for POTW. From now on you'll be able to choose from the trad 4:3 monitor, swanky new 16:10 widescreen computer format, 16:9 widescreen 'smart TV' format, and even a portrait option for smartphones. Clever, eh?

Square (4:3)
Computer widescreen (16:10)
TV widescreen (16:9)
Portrait (smartphone etc)

This car is as sweet as a nut and having read the reviews on Car & Driver etc I can appreciate what the fuss is all about. The car is packed with tech yet retains some pony car charm ut with a modern twist. A PH'rs dream I would have thought. Don't understand the haters one bit. IF you're not convinced maybe the 7.41 ring time will do it for you. Check Camaro5.com or download the pdf brochure http://www.camaro5.com/goods/camaro_zl1_brochure.p...

Hmmmm. It's not supposed to be that at all. Will attempt to change (though our back end is playing silly buggers at the mo. If you'll forgive the expression)

Thanks for the link, one post in 11 months isn't too bad either! Haven't actually read much about this car and wrongly assumed it was all weight and old tech with a massive engine bolted on. I guess it features some pretty up to date engineering, but for the money we can't really beat about the bush here; it offers unbelievably tremendous value.

Love the way it looks in this pic;

Heh, heh. Have you been to any of the big German showrooms recently? Each features just one design but available in 16 sizes.
