Women driving Porsches
Discussion
Don't you love it when a lady is driving a porsche and when you catch each other on an A road or motorway and just have a play. Happened to me today with a nice lady in a Cayenne Turbo.
This has happened to me a few times and its quite fun, similar experiences for other P drivers?
There's something exciting about when a woman appreciates another Porsche...

All to common now or are the cars more feminine nowdays like the spyder etc...
Really, you think the Spyder is feminine?I would have thought its the most masculine, focused Boxster that's been made.
A lady driving a Cayenne is pretty normal I would have thought.Likewise lots of Boxsters, Caymans and esp 911 Cabs.
Never seen a GT3 being driven by a lady ever I don't think (Apart from VBH on 5th Gear)

... I would say is that 30 years ago there was no model in the line up that would be considered perfectly driveable for the majority of women....
924?Loving the "A-road" comment further up

Women in 911s are cool to see, but women in TVRs strike a chord a bit more with me I think.
Doris's A-Road is a deffo no go area at the mo... wow, you should have seen what she blew out last night
As for when we met, it was Doris driving, alas not a Porsche.... but couldn't help feel the love.....

Plus she's a celeb, never yet been in Hello mag, but patience will tell she says, particularly as she's now a restaurant critic

.... whilst we're on this thread, Doris, bless her little woolly socks, has made a valid point

.... most females driving Porsche, not me I have a landy, but know a few around the Harrogate area, would say the guys they come across drive like women with short hair and a stubble, bit like a bunch of pussies
But IOHO not Chris H though, he's luuuuurvvverrrllllyyyyy, very shaggable, he could drive/shear/sort me and my mates any day of the week
Any responses please email Doris direct - dirtyfckndoris@swaledalefarmswingers.net .......no spammers or sales enquiries please, thankyou.

She was about 70 and had an immaculate 911SC which she apparently had from new. According to a friend, she wasn't short of cash so could easily afford something else if she wanted.
My own lady is known to take my 964 out on occasion.

My wife drives the GT3 regularly. Gets some interesting looks and "small nob syndrome" from men in lesser cars. She drives it fairly sedately but isn't afraid to open the taps and dispatch the odd upstart once in a while so I'm told...I would have thought its the most masculine, focused Boxster that's been made.

Wifey drives the Porsche quite a bit. We had a few over the years and since she says that the Boxster and Cayman have been more fun than the 911 Turbo we had. At least I know she appreciates a fine handling car.
The funniest reaction I had was when she picked me up outside a Japanese Tuning show in our previous GTR. All the lads standing around saw the Nissan GTR coming down the street and were admiring it, but the look on their faces when they saw the driver (a petite Japanese lady) was hilarious.
Still my favourite women driver and Porsche combo, would have to be Sabine:
