Guys,

In North Liconshire, in the town called Brigg (Off the M180 at Scunthorpe) a Sports & Classic Car show is being held. Its being presented by Jeremy Clarkson and Tiff Needle.

A few Ferrari's, TVR'S, Lotus's and Lambo's locally are already attending the show. If anyone wishes to attend call 01724 724406 and speak to Cliff Wood. Its been reported by the local press that between 10,000 to 20,000 people will be attending. Many clubs are meeting up at this event.

It will be a great day....

Brigg is near to Scunthorpe off the M180 at Junction 3 or A18 through Scunthorpe.

Brigg lies on the A1084. The show is being held in Brigg centre itself in then Pedestrian area.

Excellent timing - I'm going to visit my parents that weekend in Scunthorpe.

Will pop along Sunday 8th - went to school in Brigg and haven't been back there for ages.

Any other PHers going? I'll be in a green 911 Carrera 3.2

Phil.

This may be a stupid comment, but does the event have entry tickets and an entrance price?

Or is it just in the town centre?

Can anybody enlighten me?

No entry tickets required, just turn up in your sport car. When you get into the town centre it will say sportcar & classic car show. You should see some rodsde stewards just appraoch them and they will let you in.

Why are there two shows there within a fortnight, the 27th July and August 8th?

Which one is Clarkson going to? (So I can go to the other!)

Still confused...

The reason their two, is so the council can train stewards for the big event on August 8th. The event on Tuesday 27th in eveneing is very good well.

The event on August 8th is a all day event. I understand Vicki butler henderson is attending as well. Tiff Needle will be there. Jeremy Clarkson should be attending but might not due the launch of the 1 series bmw...

Brigg - a car show - cool. I grew up in Scawby and went to Sir John Nelthorpe. Might make a trip 'back home' for that one. Hope I didn't go to school with any of you lot , I'm sure you'd recognise my first name if I did.
