Its too low, the tyres have too much stretch blah blah blah
only joking, that is lovely!
Never been a fan of a rallye front end either. Just doesnt look quite right. Far too low and too bling for my liking. Golf has always been the peoples hooning car to me, this just looks like something to go cruising in.only joking, that is lovely!

Judging by it's ride height it's probably on some kind of bagged setup, I doubt it's driven at that height.Strawman said:
Re-sprayed, doesn't look a standard colour, single wiper conversion, G60 arches (?) I don't know much about them either, might be a different engine e.t.c.
Yea, the interior looks like it's been done too. I wanted a red one when I was looking for a Mk2 (they are faster, obviously).I've never seen any details on it, just think it looks great.

Are the 1st cars wheels an inch smaller and an inch wider?
It just doesn't seem to sit right at all.
Those tyres fit the wheels perfectly. You appear to be making the mistake of presuming that because silly herberts in VW Polos stretch tyres to ridiculous levels, follwing a silly trend like sheep, that any tyre whose sidewall isnt perpendicular is therefore 'stretched' and wrong. It just doesn't seem to sit right at all.

Tyres should be ever so slightly stretched and theyre bang-on for their period.

I like that - low, purposeful, nice conversion, interesting colour coding that is hidden away.
Also looks to be very cleanly done. Here's the thread:
