If it's being delivered by Yodel, we could be in trouble.

I live pretty much next door to Chatsworth. What local area / town are you looking at for weather? The geography there is pretty hilly and so the weather is often totally different in and around the 'Edges' than in the nearish towns.

Don't worry Steve it wont fall apart if it gets wet;) although I do hope the weather improves for all those attending.

Ah but the exit is at the bottom of the slope so never been a problem in the past when wet smile

The area is used as a car park more and more often these days eg last weekend. The ground remains solid as it has great drainage and so traction isnt a problem.

Check the long range forecast from the Met Office :/ Obviously things might change, so lets all pray together.

Check what long range ? Chatsworth, Baslow, Sheffield, Chesterfield...
As I say the weather in that area is often very different to the surrounding areas as it's in a valley.

Chatsworth...i'm less concerned about a little rain at Chatsworth, but more grumpy about 2.5 hours, driving across country with it pissing it down all the way. I think our little group (about 5-6, from our local town) will make a call the day before as to whether we go or not. Super Down if we have to miss it.

Who is the god of weather? I'm going to start sacrificing local wildlife smile

It poured down last time i went on the way back. Quite funny to see a convoy of TVR drivers with 888's creeping along gingerly at 25mph on the M40. Mind you, there was standing water about an inch deep.
