Any decent ones around Bristol?

Curiosity has gotten the better of me and I'm interested to see what my old rust bucket is making.

Cheers,

I can put you in touch with one in Devon (between Exeter and Plymouth), if that's any use?

Think Devon might be a bit too far.

Interpro in Thornbury could be good, though. Will have a look in to that.

Thanks.

Guess what website is the 2nd hit on Google for 'Interpro Thornbury'!

Seems to be some other mixed reviews about, but seeing as it's just a dyno test, I'm sure they'll be OK?

Cheers, will give the others a call tomorrow to find out prices.

There's one at Circuit Motors next to Castle Combe, so will give them a call as well.

Thanks for the replies

Do you mind posting the prices once you've found them out?

Sure.

Powerstation are the only ones with a website that I could find and they're listed price is £72 for just power runs.

I'll update tomorrow with the other prices.

Circuit Motors - £45 inc Vat
Interpro - £65 + Vat
Powerstation - £72 inc Vat

Think I'll be going to circuit motors.

Paul at circuit motors has fixed my engine snags and annually tunes and balances my carbs and I don't have a bad word to say about them so far.

The biggest downside to rolling roads is the fact that there's often insufficient cooling so I would personally go to the place with the largest cooling fans you can find in the area. Powerstation's dyno cell is pretty good (although my IATs logged there are still higher than what I log on the road); Owen Developments have a very good dyno cell too.

With a bit of sweet talking, you might get it for £20 in Devon.

Just make sure that you check engine and gearbox oil before you run. worth checking the diff for leaks too.

Forgot to mention, 2wd only.

Been to lots of RR days at Powerstation and the guys there are great, better than other places I've been to. I think as part of a big group we would pay around £40 each.

£20 would be really cheap, but by the time I factor in fuel, it'll probably be more expensive than the local ones.

Might try and book with Circuit Motors and time it on the same day as a trackday. Was thinking they could probably squeeze it in during lunch time on the trackday.
