Hello!

I am looking for a slightly classy stag do location in Italy for March next year. Thinking South to have any chance of hitting 20 degrees, maybe Palermo.

Has anyone got any recommendations of places to stay with good night life but not trashy. Golf courses and something interesting to do?

Thanks

ps it's not mine, I'm tasked with this as BM!

Hmm, pissed-up Brits on the lash meet Latin males with vendetta culture and no tolerance of public drunkeness. Could be interesting.

Sure you don't want to try Cyprus - warmer and safer?

Cyprus - I'll have a look, thanks

Needs to be in Feb/March next year and include golf. Only 2 liabilities with us who will probably disappear somewhere seedy :-)

Aren't you being a bit exagerated?

It's not all about mafia and people not longer use grease, there are stupid people with the same concentration as every other country in the world.
As for public drunkness, as long as you don't disturb other people or put yourself and others into danger, it's perfectly tolerated.

Back on topic, may I suggest Sicily? Wonderful island, average temperature during winter/early spring never falls below 10 C°, the food is simply epic, and if you're planning also a road trip then the old Targa Florio circuit is right there.

As for golf courses here you could find a list of the main ones, unfortunately it's italian only, but nothing that google translate couldn't sort.

You can easily reach the island by plane or by car taking the night ferry from Genoa.

Hope it helps

Thank you very much! That's excellent info and Palermo is at the top of the list. Last task is getting direct flights from Friday evening - Sunday evening 15-17 March. Can only see flights for Thurs and Sat on Skyscanner from Gatwick or Heathrow. Maybe it's too far away to have an updated schedule?

Maybe yes it's too late. Alternatively in case there aren't direct connections from London if it's not a problem you can try to have a look at a flight via Rome or Naples...
