My apologies if this has been posted before:

Has anyone been watching 'The Bridge' on BBC4? I put it on my SKY+ and watched 4 episodes yesterday.

The lead female drives what I think is an SC, in a sort of Dijon mustard colour.

Does anyone know what the colour is called? (or anything more about the car in question)

Thanks.

That's it.

Not sure that it's pea green. Looks more brown/yellow, hence my Dijon mustard analogy.

I really like it - it's a colour you wouldn't think of ordering, but on a 70s car it looks great.

My missus likes both the show and the car!

It sounds like a flat four though. A 912E perhaps?

In the first episodes it sounded like a 6cyl but in this weeks installment it was definitely a flat four engine. Possibly the sound is dubbed on during editing, maybe next week it will be a watercooled V8 or a turbo I4.

Watched the Bridge this evening.

It has US spec front side lights and definitely sounds like a flat 4. Narrow arches, chrome window surrounds and a black grill with silver rear badge....

Really do think this is a 912E...

Not quite: I'm presuming MGRON is the colour in Swedish - I'd still like to know what it is in English!

Seems PH and the noise is referenced in the Guardian:

I don't watch much TV, so was unaware of this. It's a nice colour.
