There are plenty of opportunities coming up to test you and your car up the 1/4 mile.

The list is excellent Derek, good work - been wondering about this for a while. We're down for Shakey (rematch with daughter...) but hope to fit in 1 or 2 more.

Prize money on offer for RWYB entries at the Pod on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May. Simple 4 car eliminations for cars with the best times on Sunday afternoon. Never been but it looks like a good event. http://www.streetnationals.co.uk/index.html

I was thinking about you when i saw this. Depends what turns up. Be good practice to get those reaction times down. As soon as you see the 3rd amber.... GO!

I would have gone but at the new TVRS garage tomorrow. Also getting new RS-Rs smile
Then off to Drayton Manor for some NSCC points on Sunday.

I'll be coming to the pod on the sat 30th june with the tuscan racer and a bunch of friends with caterhams...

My first time there, so do i just turn up and have a go or do i need to book ahead etc?

Just turn up with your licence and preferably a helmet. Recommend getting there by 9 for a full days track time

despite facing impending financial ruin i will be at the pod for the Ultimate TVR Shootout 2 on 30th.
Any more takers?

I aim to make the most of the weekend and camp over Saturday night for the Retro Show on the Sunday.
This also promises to be a great day with fantastic cars in attendance including a gathering of cars from the Rover V8 drag racing association, the MG club and lots more.
