How much oil is normal for an LP550 / 560 / 570 to use? I've owned mine a couple months now - I bought it at 1yr old and 3,300 miles...it's now done 5,500 miles, but there doesn't seem to be much oil used at all. It doesn't need a top up, and I've checked a couple times.

It was serviced when I first got it - so the first year service.

From my understanding, the new LP engines are basically an Audi V10....so I'm guessing low oil usage is because 1) It was serviced very recently with all the bits changed, and 2) it's an Audi engine essentially, so modern and doesn't use much oil (like you'd expect from German saloons)?

Does that make sense?

Mine hasn't needed topping up in a 10 months/3k.

Earlier gallardo's didn't use much oil until thrashed, then I was topping up oil every 2 tanks of petrol.
