Yep, I had a go too - managed to position/align the window better, but I cant get it to fit tight enough against the seal - It doesnt leak, but I still get lots of wind noise & vibration still at 80+ mph....

Suppose I'll have to wait untill the next service too then..! S

mjc - do you have the small black rubber wedges just under the roof line that help press the window up against the seal. reason i ask this is one of mine came unstuck and the only time i drove it without, the noise and vibration above 80 was pretty bad, but as soon as i reattached it, it is fine even at speeds in xs of 100.

I have the same problem and no such black wedges on mine. Would be very interested to hear any details. Are these standard fit? Are they just stuck on? Sounds like an easy fix to me.

Small black rubber wedge block about 1 inch square just stuck under the roof line. I bought the car a year old so i dont know whether they are standard or whether previous owner has done this himself. But they are unobtrusive and work a treat.

My Dec '03 model had them fitted when new, but I understand earlier cars didn't. One of the earlier cars I looked at did have them and the owner told me it was done as a free modification to address the problem - try asking your dealer.

There is a small plastic wedge in the same location, check it's there still. I can take a photo tonight if you like, but it's the same concept/location as the the Tamora's.

ok, perhaps it me being thick but that looks very different to the set up on my T350 ...!

It seems to be different on the passenger side compared to the drivers side too, with there being a much bigger gap on the drivers side...

Perhaps if I take some pics you might all know what I'm talking about a bit better...?!!

Yes I too would appreciate a picture of the device in situ on a T350. Probably being thick but I struggle to see how that works on a hardtop.

As trefor said the balck rubber wedge is in the same place as the tamora just under the roof line towards the front of the window, however looks quite a bit smaller and neater than the one on the tamora.
When the window goes up, it will contact the angled rubber wedge about 1cm before full closure and the wedge then pushes the window tighter onto the seal as it closes fully.
Really works as my drivers side one came off once when cleaning and before i stuck it back on i was driving down the bypass at about 85 and the wind noise was awful.

Nothing like that on mine. Thanks for the pictures. I guess it may not be too difficult to 'manufacture' something like that. Have to go searching in B&Q for something similar!

Why not ask a dealer to order some of the rubber bits?
