This looks like it could be an interesting event to attend at Brooklands. I have contacted Phil the organiser, and shown interest in attending. Its not just a static display, but you get to do five or six laps of the MB world test track. Anyone else fancy joining in ? http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/...

I might make this - I live in Weybridge and I'm a club member of the museum. Not too fussed about driving the track but would like to meet other Aston owners.

Yes, I went along and had a fantastic time.
Not many Astons there, 3 DB9's a couple of DB7's and I briefly saw a V8VRS. Plenty of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches, and plenty of exotica.
The hill test was fun to watch, and the MBW track was a lot of fun.
A really friendly crowd, and a well organised event, and the sun shone. Happy days !

It was really well organised and apart. from the obligatory missed turn to Proctor and Gamble, well marshalled. Astons had a bit of a back seat. Loads of fezzas close to the clubhouse with quite a few lambos parked round the corner. . Weather was OK and the whole thing was well supported although for me, an hour was enough!

Yes I went too, without my Aston, and had a great day. Wanted to meet the other Aston owners but you were all away from your cars when they were parked up.

woolders said: Astons had a bit of a back seat. Thats because not many owners turned up in there AM's, there was a dedicated AM area, but when only a handful attended, the marshalls parked other marques of cars, such as a Delorean, and a Triumph Spitfire in the spaces. Yes plenty of Ferraris, and Lamborghini 's, so maybe next time we can point some AM owners in the right direction, and make a display of it. The few owners that were there, made the effort and drove the MBW test track, also a DB9 took to the test hill, all said they had a fantastic day and would be back. So maybe next time AM's will not be taking the back seat !
