Ive got a serial number which is cast into it too.

Just want to check it is a Maser block thats all.

That iS not a 4200, probably from a ghibli or QP? Note the hole on top of the sump, that's for the dip stick, 4200 is dry sump, has dip stick on oil tank.

nono The first generation Ghibli was a V8 - originally a 4.7 litre and latterly a 4.9 litre for the SS. nerd

The Ghibli being referenced in this instance was the 90's Ghibli 2 . . . . . .
