I'm going to buy some silver gaffer tape and make my own DBS replacement.

It does look like a DB9 with a bodykit

I hope this is not it , as I feared the original elegant shape has gone and replaced by a mish mash of different styling all over the car , that guppy grill and Nissan lights ...........
Still I'll wait for the finished article at the dealers

That's the one I saw driving close to Gaydon. There is a LOT of tape on that one, pretty heavy disguise! Amazing how much a few bits of tape can hide. I think we will all be pleasantly surprised.

But as with everything - damned if you do, damned if you don't. Cars are criticised for all looking the same; so they change the design and it's a travesty. So they keep the same lines - they all look the same...

Can't please all of the people... Let's face it the only ones who need to be pleased are the potential buyers anyway, not some 14 year old kid posting in General Gassing with 'yawn, try something new' comment biggrin

That would be quite fun to do! Or get a black wrap with white swirls all over it so you look like you're testing a brand new car hehe

Think you have to register a protptype as something. It would be a DBS chassis to start with.

I also hope for a new name, never liked the use of DBS the second time round - DB9S would have been far more intelligent, or DB9 Vantage even better. But the shellsuit V8 took that name rolleyes

The William Towns designed car nicely finished off the DB cars, and it should have been left there.

Title says new DBS, the pic isn't of a new DBS? It's project 310, which isn't a DBS?

Is that not valid?

What is project 310 then? If not the replacement of the DBS, Aston's flagship? All the magazine's are calling it 'the new DBS'. Unless you expect it to be called the Aston Martin VH310?

Well, if magazines say it is, then it must be ?

Lets wait for the official word from Aston and then we will see what it is wink
