Hi guys, any of you got the factory tow eye kit? Could you give me an idea of cost?

do not do it, you need to cut out a huge part of the front shell, better go for the FIA strap that will stay inside the car and only when you need it pull it out to the front, that is what I am doing on my built, have got it but not installed it yet so here a pic of the device http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a...

Mine has a removable towing eye, a bit like "normal" cars it has a threaded block bolted to the chassis a couple of inches behind the front grille, the "eye" just screws in through a 30 mm square hole in the mesh when needed. Not ideal for track but good for road.

The only problem with the towing straps is that they do end up looking a mess, as they are next to impossible to clean. Just something to be aware of - probably best to get a black one.
