Vehicle Welding
Discussion
All,
Just wanted to let you know I had an excellent experience on Saturday morning at a company that undertook a weld repair to my exhaust. Often, I know, it can be hard to find a company that'll do this, however, for those of you in Dorset or West Hants, if you need a recommendation, check out Trickett Welding.
They specialise in Vehicle welding, for classics and restorations, and happily welded up two cracks in my exhaust for £38. Quotes from indi's were aroudn £50.
So, for us Cerb owners who are regularly experiencing cracked exhaust manifolds, if you are able to remove them yourself, then these guys would be an ideal repair shop.
Very friendly, and also prepared to do in-situ repairs of the outriggers. Obviously not everyone's preference, but certainly less expensive this way.
