Hello folks, my Gixxer Thou is in need of a bit of a refresh in the suspenders department. I took it to Cadwell a couple of weeks back and it just seemed a bit heavy and boat like. It's got 18,000 on the clock and for all I know hasn't had it touched in that time.
What I want to do is drop it off somewhere and have them rebuild the forks and shock, possibly with uprated parts and get it all setup for me personally. I've heard that MCT over in Suffolk are very good and I've asked k-tech for a quote, but does anyone else have any recommendations, preferably not at the other end of the country from MK.
I'm also wholly incapable of getting the parts off myself and sending them off, so a ride in - ride out service would be best for a man of my limited mechanical ability.
Cheers!

Cheers guys, gave Rob at PDQ a call as that seems pretty close to me, he's suggested getting the front forks rebuilt with Race Tech internals set to my weight and a Nitron rear shock, the race one only being about £50 more than the track one.
Got to wait a couple of weeks for the shock to be built and I'll drop it in on a Saturday and pick up my transformed bike a week later. Really looking forward to it now - huge bill aside.
