I have never detailed a car before as have always enjoyed the cleaning process as it revealed any little problems that needed attending to! But what with all my back problems and the mountain of paperwork thats built up at the office i figured i'd treat the new BMW and the MG to some TLC after a recommendation from someone on the M5 forum. One word "WOW" I'm obviosly not as good as i thought i was! In fact i was so impreesed i got the rest of the car's done for good measure for a handsome discount as well. The company is called LG Autoworx[07787 180508] and the guys name is Luke, he's a top bloke and from what i found chases perfection both in his work and the products he uses, with his Wax product costing the same as a modest monthly mortgage payment Here's a few pics of how pleased i am!

Was the 350's paint 'corrected' or just clayed and waxed? Looks like a nice deep shine.

To be honest you would have to ask Luke as i was at work most of the day he did the 350, but the car had some swirls and no depth to the paint but now looks like you could dive in! here's another pic

Well spotted Ken, yes i was fortunate enough to find Ian's car along with all the extra bits i would of had to go and buy to make it the track animal it is! I have added a few little tweeks of my own and have been unable to part company with the car as was intended when my Griff project was finished I have said i could pick up another one but doubt i'd find such a sorted example so well looked after, so she is currently wrapped up in her fleece cover waiting for some bloody sunshine!

The paint was in very good condition to start with but was corrected to remove a few small marks that where present, but only had my phone so was hard to get decent pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/31188520@N05/sets/721...

LoL When I first glanced at the photo I thought it looked covered in dried foam and scummy, it was only when I looked 'into' it that I realised what was going on
