D#*k head in a gt3

Why is it some people feel the need to show how much of a d*#k they are , today I was out minding my own business on my way to Porsche Bolton to check out the new 991, and some gezzer in a 996 gt3 decideded he wanted a piece of my ass, in the middle of town he teared It up trying to prove himself, the next set of lights he was in front of me, a lady leaned out of her window and said "is he triying to race you" I said " I guess so" as the lights changed the gt3 took off in a plume of smoke,
It pisses me off when people do this in the middle of a town Center , it gives us all a bad name, save it for for back roads

Sorry to rant but had a few and it is still niggling me

These people have to exist in order to make sure stupidity isn't placed on somebody who is otherwise normal.
I only hope the idiot doesn't casue damage to somebody else.

Joking apart best idea is avoid eye contact with other driver and ignore.

Or make eye contact, let him know you're ready to race - and then pull away slower than a granny in a Micra when the lights change while he leaves half his rear tyres on the road. An easy win.

I always wondered why Marty McFly didn't just do this - nailing it in reverse always seemed a little extreme to me.

Although being serious for a second if the knobber did then go and stack it I'm sure by having "egged him on" it would cause you hassle too.

Had this in the TVR at traffic lights. Had some idiot revving, he hoofed off leaving 11s... and I turned left.

I get this a lot in the Countach but only from boy racers in their Cupras etc. I just Smile at them give them a friendly wave and drive off normally ie slowly!

Had this recently in Bradford with two young lads in an M3 CSL.

About 1 inch from my back bumper, overtaking on the wrong side of pedestrian islands.

Then to cap it all at the lights when we were side by side they were yelling at me, I had my window wound up, so they started throwing coins at me/car

Sadly not that unusual for Bradford, I console myself by considering that they all swim in the same genetic cesspool, and number of fingers rarely=10...

happened to me two sundays ago when the sun was out.i took my mate out in the sv (5 mile run around bolton inc a section of motorway juc 4 to 5 m61)and as we got off the motorway just pottering back to the unit we got on to hulton lane near the old hospital and a black 997 turbo pulled right up my arse.i knew what his game was,as i pulled away he was right up my arse again.so now we are waiting at the lights (juction with st.helens rd) and i revved my engine like mad,when the lights changed i pulled off at normal speed and laughed,the porsche driver pulled at the side of me and i said "can you rev your engine i cant hear you!" at this point he planted his foot and got off!
hope the driver of the 997 turbo in black is reading,you too are a cock!
