Been trawling the web but I cannot seem to find a DIY guide to turbo replacement on the E39 530d. Does anyone know where I could find one?

Here we go: http://tis.spaghetticoder.org/s/view.pl?1/04/94/89Don't forget to order nuts to bolt the turbo to the manifold. I recommend you change the oil feed pipe to. It's advisable to clean and flush the intercooler+inlet manifold. Well worth an oil and filter change at the same time. Maybe worth changing the crankcase breather too.
