Got an invite to go to a fancy dress party as follows: 'Its fancy dress – Gaming Nerds vs Comic Nerds, so you can come as a gaming character, a comic book character or even a nerd' So, wacky suggestions ahoy and for info it is adults only attendance P.s the wife has already told me I can't go as a beaten-to-death prostitute from Grand Theft Auto

Are you taking the wife? (Do you want a suggestion of a double costume like Mario and Princess Peach for example?)
What era of gaming are you from?

Get together with 3 or 4 mates (of different heights). All of you dress like Flash and walk one behind the other in height order. Or go as the Doppler EffectI know, I know ... I watch way too much BBT!

Some good responses but crap at arts and craft so going to have to buy/rent it. The guy who's it is is in to computer games hence the party - idea of his wife. Me I'm not fussed just want to not be the 9th Mario there. Yep, with the wife who is intent on looking like a superhero slut thankfully I've seen Hitman and that sounds ok - skull cap, black suit, red tie, black gloves barcode on the back of the head - job done.

What's wrong with a bit of harmless geekery for fancy dress? I'd say it was a hell of a lot less sad than the pathetic tribalism of football fans.
