I sent you an email Eric as you were my first port of call but never got a response. I used the email in your profile on here. Is that right?

If you could let me have some contact details then we can get things going.

Mine are doug@g19engineering.com or 07886 005962

Thanks,

Doug.

Yep - who needs to know anything about boring stuff like tax law and double entry accounting systems.

Sorry - I should have clarified.
We happen to have the local office do the books and accounts for OH Sole trading company (soon to turn Ltd)
As it happen the guy who runs it is coincidently the old accountant from my current employer who is an 'accountant' I guess the franchising is what you want or need to make of it.

Perhaps we are blinkered but as per the Op requirements it / he / they fit the bill smile

My local Tax Assist franchise has a big shop fronted place with flashy looking signs and nice interior. I know the rent on the mirror unit across the road is 20k pa and there is only ever one guy sat in the tax assist office. I cant help but think how a big chunk of my inflated bill would be going towards this and not actually be for the cost of an experienced person spending time on my accounts.

http://www.rhp-partnership.co.uk - Norwich based, highly recommended by me. Have been working with them for nigh on 10 years.
