Just reading the thread about how driving a slow(er)car for a while can make your car feel faster,

What other ingenious methods do you know or have heard people say?

'folding down the rear seats lowers the centre of gravity'
'pressing the clutch lightly allows the engine to rev more - therefore its faster'

any more? smile

Also "open the glove box" (for the same effect).

Proper ways would be to strip some weight out, so have a st before you go for a drive. Maybe even drive naked, to save the weight of your clothes. And have a skin head hair cut. All of this applies to your passengers too.

Also, over inflate your tyres for that "on the edge" handling feeling.

Bouncing in the drivers seat, if you can get your passengers to do the same you get a multiple increase in speed.
