Hi all
Have any of you S owners been to the Surrey TVRCC meet that's held on the 4th Thursday of every Month?

I'm not a member but as it's sort of local to me I was considering turning up this Thursday a wondered if any of you in the Surrey area would be there.

My S2 is a little rough around the edges but saying that has been reliable... so far.
As it's 10 mile or so from me I will pop in and take a look.
Looks like the weather should be ok for the evening; it took a long time for the car to dry out after the terrible weather driving too and from Chatsworth.

Hi,
Just spotted this thread and thought I'd leave a note. The Black Swan in Ockham is a lovely meeting place with a good size car park and plenty of inside and outside seating (to enjoy the sunny evenings). I have requested that the pub provide us with a "TVR menu" which has burger and chips, cod and chips, sausage and mash and a few other favourites at a lower price than the rest of the menu. We are a busy region with a packed calendar of events We encourage everyone to get involved with as much or as little as they feel. We do have a wide range of TVRs turning up from an beautiful classics such as an original racing Griffith right the way through to a Typhon. As we meet on a week night there is no problem with arriving late, some people who work or have to travel don't arrive until 8.45 but we're there until the pub closes as there is always lots to chat about.
As The Black Swan is a public house everyone is welcome to turn up, have a drink and meet the gang. Please introduce yourself to me or one of the TVR crowd as you can imagine that in a busy pub (with members of the public in it as well) I can't ask every single person if they have a TVR or not.
Fingers crossed for fine weather.
See you there!
Deeman, I couldn't be there last month as I was visiting a relative in hospital. Steve and I will be around tomorrow.

Great to meet you all last night. I've added all of you onto the e-group so check your inbox for the invite and join in. Details of this weekends Sunday lunch followed by a scenic drive to Polesden Lacey for live jazz with afternoon tea have just been posted. Any queries do let me know. Also check out the TVRCC forum especially the Surrey section, all events are advertised there. Hope to see you again soon and if you have any ideas for drives out, places to visit, etc do let me know as I can work magic! ;0)
