Morning All,

A couple of nice easy ones to start the day:-

Current equivalent code for Touch-Up paint/spay for S3 in British Racing Green [dark green so assuming BRG]

Are the exhaust manifold/cylinder head gaskets the standard Ford part or a special – if so please recommend a supplier.

Cheers

Nigel

Looks under your bonnet at the body code then got to the top off the general TVR forum and looks at the paint code lists.

I used gaskets for classics for mine but I believe that they are still available from Ford dealers !

I have been looking for some myself, and 'Ford Direct Parts' told me this morning that Ford don't do them anymore!

I was going to try 'gaskets for classics' next.

Any good Motor Factors should be able to supply gasket set but you'll probably have to ask for Granada 2.9i not a TVR wink

Could also be Brooklands green though I am not sure there is any difference. Mine is also green and I bought touch-up from Halfords, was'nt listed on the code but under TVR. I think the colour darkens with age as the touch-up was slightly lighter. I noticed the paint under my earial base was also lighter when I took it off. The colour can be adjusted on a trial and error basis to match your car if you get someone smart enough to do it. My son used to do this when he worked at Halfords.

Good morning all,

Could someone point me in the direction of the paint code location ? I thought that it was on the manufacturers plate but I only have a body code which is (PL22-B51.9) this does not correlate to any of the paint codes listed in the useful information on paint codes. The car is black but seems to have a very fine, barely detectable (metallic ?) fleck !

Sorry all had another look could be P422...maybe this one ?

R2851 Moonraker Black - PPG015 P422-B519B - - Same as TVR008 & TVR103

Any ideas please !

Regards

Graham

Norman, when you look at the 'compatibilty' for the the ebay link, it says TVR S NOT compatible. I assume this is a default if you choose any car other than a ford.

Anyway, Burton Power seem to do them - Thanks for the link Gadge3c!
