I need a new car ,fast, as just been laid off and new company don't do company cars.... so I'm left with leasing a car on the hurry up, so basically what is in stock.

Question is can I get a Merc and the get a becker nav system fitted afterwards, either by merc or by a third party or is this stricty only available on order ?

If its a facelift C Class or new W246 B Class then yes its available as a retro-fit from Merc. They are already pre-wired and its just a case of plug and play..

Easy. I have just got a new C220. Get the Becker off E-bay for a couple of hundred quid, and plug it into the slot in the glove box. It all works great and is fully integrated with the car.

Cheers Tony ..... that was next question answered about the one ebay thumbup

nad Mickey be either the C220 or C250 depending on stock, and if I go that route as more job opportunities are looming.... I'm now hanging on until after the weekend to decide where I'm going, and what package to take ... who said there was no work out there (I may live to regret saying that hehe )

Yep - I can confirm that eBay is the place to go for the Becker Map Pilot - usually around £225 delivered. Mine arrived next day - will plug in in glovebox to the Audio 20 in my new SLK, which was delivered yesterday but which I can't see til next Friday as I'm abroad frown
