Just looking into doing a long weekend in the Dolomites, checking out the kit, looks great fun. Any tips from anyone who has had a go?

We plan to fly and hire a car, camp in a tent, spend 4 days there.

Did this a few years ago, great if you have a head for heights.

Some of it is pretty old though, so you do have to be a bit careful

Where? There's routes all over the place.

We're looking at doing the Avoriaz one this summer.

Or if you don't. It's a great way for none climbers to experience the joys of 'sewing machine leg' biggrin

not sure - Corvara area - we are getting a guide book. So any suggestions would be good.

How long do the routes take? do you go back the way you came up?
