Chancing my arm with a cheeky request, just landed some last minute tickets for the Stone Roses gig in Heaton park and looking at driving up Friday afternoon, anyone got a spare parking space withing the region in exchange for some beer tokens perhaps?

Thanks in Advance

How close?
Tram stops at Heaton Park, so why not dump it in a city centre car park?

This, fling it in to the Charles Street Multi Storey down by the UNIs and then tram it up
Either that or park up in Bury and get the tram down

Not sure of the area but if the city centre car parks will still be open after midnight to get it out I will have a look, Does the tram run all night too?

Wouldn't it make more sense to park further out and get the tram in?

There will be some on-street parking among the houses adjacent to Heaton Park Tram Station, shown on https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Heaton+Park,+Manc... , if you're driving home afterwards (as opposed to staying in a hotel).

But it might be better to park on one of the housing estates off Sheepfoot Lane (which runs along the southern side of Heaton Park) or Scholes Lane (the western extension of Sheepfoot Lane) as they are semi-detached houses with drives as opposed to row upon row of terraced houses...

I can't help personally; I'm about 12 miles away but this is an old stomping ground.

You will need to, I drive home past Heston park and the police have put cones out on the surrounding roads for miles, you'd have a fair walk
