good luck marcus. we were at brands last year with the gt2 when the trucks were on, it was so slippy all weekend with the crap they put down leak etc. it was the same a few years ago with them as well have fun

........ add to that the prospect of some rain tomorrow after 11 (as say BBC weather) .......... then not forgetting all the aviation fuel mist that the planes spread on take off ........ we'll be having some fun!

The only truck meetings I've been to were at Thruxton, but I've never seen paddock restrictions there, nor at any of the meetings I've competed at at Donington, so I don't think it'll be a problem. Maybe there's no passes on sale as they're not needed.

no testing today as Toyota had booked the circuit for the whole week for a product launch.
...... I am now set up in the paddock, the trucks are amazing and seeing them being worked on adds further interest.
Once you've paid to get in you'll have full access to the paddock.
NB we don't have the garages though, we are in the open paddock area at the end of the start-finish straight before Redgate corner.

7 am ...... weather wet at the moment so bring the right clothing & brollies, it might brighten up during the morning but some showers due again in the afternoon.

I was there today.
Massive respect for those truck drivers!
Manoeuvering those 5 ton, 1200hp monsters through the bends at silly speeds, just inches away from each other must take some balls!
And in the wet at times.
Makes racing cars look like childs play....
How did you do, Marcus?

I.e. it had me still flat out when clearly I'd slowed for a bend, then the speed display would decrease even though I was clearly accelerating away again. I'll be speaking to Racelogic in the next day or two.
