I'm not entirely sure you can check it as there are very few places that it can go once it's in there, so in theory (unless it's all over your driveway), there should be the same amount as when it was last changed....

I may be wrong here, but I would imagine removing the plug and draining it would be the only way to tell the volume in there. There's a userguide on how to do an oil change here (http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/coupe-spyder-gs/12970-diy-gearbox-fluid-change.html) if you're good with tools, or get it to a dealer if you're not.

Good luck!

These are "sealed for life" - but you can change/top-up fluid.

There is a drain plug on the side. With the car level, you fill until the fluid starts to pour back out the filling hole. You then have to run the car through the gears etc - and take in to account hot / cold volume. You'll know if it's low, gear selection will be slow or erradic in giving you drive.

Have you had issues which lead you to wanting to check?

Forgot to add, that's assuming you have the auto box.
