I am trying my best to find a Ghibli II to buy, and I´ve run into a case like this.

Does anyone have any clue why the boost gauge is acting like that? The car has been sitting for at least eight months, and one of the intercoolers has been off, due a fender bender repair. It runs ok, and seems to have enough power (spins it´s wheels on tarmac, when coming to boost on second gear).

Any ideas?

Has it been wired up incorrectly, as it seems to be working in reverse?

Oh and if you take the gauges out, be careful with the red "charging" light, if it doesn't light up, you wont be recharging the battery smile

The car is not under load. I´ve just been told that this makes a differnce.. No experience whatsoever with turbos in cars.

Thats normal in neutral, it will never make full boost without load.
There is no wiring, it is pressure fed by a pipe so what you see is what you are getting.
