Hi

I'm looking at the FF as a possible replacement for my Rapide. Not many for sale, do you guys think they are selling at a new model premium or are they over that now? Not everyones cup of tea I know, but tick several boxes for me.

Thanks

Good for you, its an amazing car! I'm not sure how useful this is, but I can tell you that emerging market volume demand might soon hit quite a sizable speedbump, as well as the Euro issues which are going to get worse and worse...wait just a little bit longer if you can. 2012 one for 160 by the end of the year?

If not, congratulations on your choice of car!

They'll lose money very rapidly over the next year IMHO. There's no demand for these cars in Europe at the moment so that production volume has to go somewhere including the UK.....and I can't remember a four seat Ferrari that has held it's value well in my lifetime!

I heard from one who would know that the first used FF to come up for sale in the UK was at £50k below list.

160k for that car would be a bargain imo.

I think if you bought brand new, allowing for dealer margins, you'd lose 6 figures in 12 months easy. Great car though, massively underrated. I'd wait another year. Then it would take you another 7 years to lose another £100K wink

Sure, but I think that by the end of the year we could get there, considering how the 612 went and that was through the relative good times. Recession hasn't even started...

Anyway, I'm going to the Morgan factory for a visit...if the FF fails to tumble it's an EVA GT or Aero Coupe if I'm not patient. Ferrari is so last year... ;-)

Until you came to sell it 12 months later and were offered less than £100K.

If I could justify it (i.e. afford it), I'd have one and use it ever single day. I think they're a work of art and judging by the pictures, surprisingly practicle too!

Having watched AndrewD's review of one before they came out, the sound alone would sell it to me.

Journos seem to knock it compared to the 458, which I find a mad comparison. Only thing to compare it to is a Conti GT and it's really no contest. Perfect GT car.

In the right colour relatively understated too, which is my preferred style. I love the Aston for long trips but it doesn't make me want to go out to the garage a start it up for the sake of it and I think the FF might.

That car in the link was up for £225k 5 or 6 weeks ago I think.

Brilliantly accomplished car to drive and very practicle for something so damn quick, but I would say it lacks a bit of the fun factor and driver involvement that I would wish - I think it's just too damn good and therefore a bit detatched.

Values will surely plummet to around 120k over time.

Agree with all of that but it is over £100K more than a conti so it SHOULD be much better.

Hi
You should give Will a call at dick lovett, try 01793
615000. Just specced up my 458 with them and it
was a typically painless experience, first class.
Anyway. I have long admired the FF too and was
tempted by a silver car they have coming that is
something like 35k off list with 10k miles. Great spec
too, I was tempted but I only have until sept until the
new car arrives.
Good luck

Don't hold your breath for the Eva GT if you want a car soon(ish). As for the Aero Coupe, a great car at a great price. Its no Ferrari though in performance, straightline is good, however.

I must be so 'last year' though as I have gone from a Morgan Supersport to a Ferrari though I still have a Morgan in the garage also laugh

+1, it really is. Spent a weekend with one and was very impressed. Did a short summary:
