I find that a little odd - why of a crashed plane?

If that is a sculpture... well it isnt it's an installation utterly bloody stupid waste of time, intellect and without a doubt money Like that Jaguar in a gallery somewhere Londonish Wasn't there also a Harrier Talent? Probably got jealous because some bird used her grungy bed as a "Artwork" bet you can tell I'm unimpressed

I wonder what the message is supposed to be.
I presume this is a real aircraft and not a sculpted replica.

I think it's pretty cool actually, although it's a shame it looks like it's just broken its neck. Old aeroplanes make an eminently good medium for sculptural work.
Not sure the problem with hanging a Jag or an Aston in a gallery either – I spend far more time looking at my TR6 and Quattro than driving either of them.

Err - bit different. Story LinkTurns out he also has a web site which has a picture of the plane of the front page followed by, erm well, that's it just a single picture. Oh, he does show is e-mail though if you want to chat with him..... And his reasoning behind his 'sculpture'? "....and turned it into this artistic creation which repurposes an instrument of destruction into a greenhouse filled with edible plants."

The plane was not a candidate for restoration and had no real importance, so I think its an improvement over scrapping the thing..sort of like a Roy Liechtenstein piece of pop art come to life.

I like it. It's sparked this thread and we've all seen the picture of it so perhaps it's doing its job
