Hi, not sure if the search function is working just now as I could find no other topics on this.
I have a 1999 sprint. It has the classic 7 grille.
I am worried about the radiator taking some stones so wanted to put something behind the 7 grille.
Any ideas please?

You're missing this http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_prod...
It fits behind the "7" grill.

Alternatively, get some normal mesh , trim it to size, and zip-tie it to the '7' grille. Much cheaper!

Agree with above....look up Mesh from Wickes or other....usually about £3 will give you enough for 2 7's ! ...and you cut to size...doesn't need to be zip tied to the "7" you can get it to fit perfectly...and you can paint it whatever colour you like...I just got some black spray paint when in Wickes and painted before fitting.

Don't make the mistake of very fine mesh ! it can cause o/heating by limiting air flowto the radiator

Thanks chaps (if indeed you are all chaps) I have gone for the Mickrick option as I am a fussy so and so and I would never have made it well enough myself. Thanks for the welcome advice.
