E46 320cd question

Hi all,
I've been offered the above car as a swap for my Nissan 200sx and was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on ownership costs or potential faults/issues.

The car has done 120,000 which is a bit of a concern to be honest, although it does have a full service history.

I have asked for a spec list and trim level to help with my decision. Is there anything to look out for there, like cruise control etc?

Stuck the last 7 digits of the VIN in here, it will give you all the option/build details of the car.

If the price is right, the history is good and the car is in good condition I wouldn't get hung up on the mileage.

Mileage is not bit, mines an 06 320CD and has just reached 160k

I'd be more worried about the fact somebody is prepared to swap it for your 200SX - why? It's presumably worth more than the 200SX so they could want shot of it quickly..

Swirl flaps. Make sure the swirl flaps have been removed or budget to replace them with blanks. The other weak point is the lollipop bush on the lower arm so grab hold of the front wheel and give it a good rock

Oh and listen for a noisy lift pump on start up. That'll need replacing too at some point

At that mileage I'd be wanting to know if the turbo has been replaced, and if the clutch and flywheel have been too. Both hefty bills when they go, and that's the mileage they both went on my 330d.
