Pic of the Week: Le Mans from the air

With the Le Mans Classic this weekend we thought we'd bring you a bit of aerial circuit action

Depending on what you're doing this weekend, today's POTW is either one for reminiscing about, one to get excited about, or one to get jealous about.

If you're heading to La Sarthe for this weekend's Le Mans Classic, then you'll be rather excited. If, on the other hand, you went to the race proper in June, then you'll be able to think back to all those beers, sausages, and the odd spot of endurance racing. If you are in both camps, then you're a lucky sod.

If, however, you missed out on the 24 and are missing out on the Classic, then jealousy might well be the prevailing emotion. Still, it's a pretty picture, eh...?

TV widescreen (16:9)

I've still got half a crate of said beer, that didn't travel too badly back from France - I'll have one to commiserate tonight.

But with free grandstand tickets to Silverstone this weekend, I can't be too sad!

Dear Mr PH - any chance you can just lob the Highest Res version you have up there? Not as a desktop, but just for us nerds who want to zoom in on our MB campsites?

Chaps those who were looking for a hi res image of this I've put one on my site, just head to the " 24 heures du man" section and click on the pistonheads logo, that will link the image for you which you can then download. I took it with a 5d mk1 it is quite grainy, if we hadn't waited nearly and hour to go up the light was much better banghead.

enjoy
