Ok have owned a 430 in the past and I'm thinking about a scud now

Anyone care to share some owner thoughts such as pdifferences in running costs from the std 430 or niggly things that go wrong

Thanks

Good report! Out of curiousness, how does it compare to the F40 or even F50 in terms of fun factor or even performance? Putting the value of the cars aside, which one would you rather take for a blast?

Maybe go through tyres and petrol a little faster but other than that I would have thought running costs comparable with F430, which I found quite sensible. Well worth the difference in price between the 2 models.

Absolutely loving mine, only had it a couple of months so can't really comment on running costs but as a driving tool it's an absolute weapon!

Scud is one of the best two cars I've ever had.

SuperLeggera was the other

Mine is a keeper for sure

Its been good on tyres (done 5k miles on them and they are still plenty good), major service cost me £1188 (DK Engineering last week), reliable as clockwork and much fun on hoons overseas (Marbella) + was utterly epic on the IoM mountain roads during the TT in May.

What a great excuse to upload a pic (taken on the IoM earlier this year when the road was closed one way....enjoying the lack of speed limit) biggrin

Always like seeing that pic Moz.

To the OP, the Scud's good but you want one that's somebody's taken the roof off of. They're much better smile

Didn’t rate them at all , I thought it was a 430 in drag . Then I drove one for several hours on the road and then a friend let me drive his ( with uprated brakes etc ) on track . The car was mega , fantastic , really good fun . I actually prefer it in many respects to the 458 .
He changed the brakes to steels and did something to the front springs , the car was just awesome fun .

Nope, they fell off all my other Lambo's too (4 of them since 05), it was a right pain having to keep getting new ones made up. Never have found a way to make them stick, real shame that

Stalked by pesky SuperLeggera's

I was like Luke Skywalker in my XWing in a dogfight with those annoying Tie Fighters there!!!
