As a car mad 13 year old boy I was captivated by the Last of the Summer wine edition featuring the Loxley Lozenge, it was my dream come true to find and old racing car.

What chassis is it?

Good shots of the chassis at 3 mins into the video, but I've got no idea.

Something Triumphy? Looks a bit like a Triumph or Rover straight six up front?

The wheels look very familiar but I can't quite place them.

I think with that seating configuration it must be a DFS special.

Certainly not anything Land Rover based, I thought it might be Daimler esq, has a very similar look to a DB18 chassis but I don't think it is.

Certainly looks big enough to be one of those and probably the right vintage, too.
