Currently got R888s fitted, but they're starting to get a little low on tread. I was thinking of replacing them with AD08s instead.

The current tyres are:
Front: 195/50/16
Rear: 225/45/17

I can get the AD08s in the right size for the rear, but not the front. Will I be OK fitting a 205/45/16 on the front? I just want to make sure that it won't rub. Or should I be looking at a different size for the front?

45's on the front should be fine. If you went bigger you may get into difficulties with rubbing.

It will lower the car at the front by a few mm so worth bearing in mind when you go over speed humps etc for the first time.

Yeah, I guessed it would be a bit lower. With a few mm of tread missing from the 888s already, it might not be too much of a difference initially.

Thanks for help. Now to go rubber shopping!

You won't have any issues with the 205mm width AD08s at the front, I replaced my A048s with them in December and they've been marvellous. No issues with the extra width or section
