Hi there. I am looking at a Boxster 3.2S manual in UK 2005 with 18k on clock. The colour combination is Dark met blue with teracotta leather. It is approx £17k from a dealer.
Can I ask whether this colour combination is weird and going to affect future values?
Also would you say a 3.2 manual is a better bet than a 2.7 auto?
Thanks for your help.

Some like red leather, some don't. Its better than green.
I think the bigger engine with manual will be a lot more fun than a smaller engine in auto!

That colour combo is not everyone's cup of tea. Some say that of anything other than black/black mind you. It shouldn't be as strong on price because of it.

Hi All thanks for your valued input. I haven't seen green leather yet but will look out for it.
MTR, sorry for the weird question, its been a hard day. I think I was thinking aloud when I was asking about a 2.7 auto vs a 3.2 auto.

Thanks for your help. Not weird, but not the most popular colour combination. If you like it I wouldn't hold back, but bargain hard with the dealer and pretend you don't like it. Of course a 3.2 manual is better than a 2.7 auto on a sportscar like this! But I wouldn't rule out a 2.7 manual.
