So after my engine rebuild we went to Wales, thanks to the great driving roads website featured in the roads section we found the Elan Valley, it's a must do and better than the Evo triangle IMHO.

MTR... a slightly better picture than my last effort ?

My daily commute, which I had the pleasure of piloting a Cayman on daily over the past year. Stunning road, but please keep it safe!

Hey Rick,
good to see you stuck with it and it's back fighting fit again.

Is it run in now then or still a few miles to go?

That's the 2 main areas mint now then eh, engine and bodywork.

Looks great! Enjoy. smile

Elan Valley, just an incredible drive, been doing it for years. My lad took his ST Focus there on the only 4 days of real summer, best drive he'd ever had. Brilliant photo opportunites as well. Motor looks great against the landscape background. Hope to go again when the 981 S arrives next month!

thanks all, on the running in, it's ready for it's "first service", the rebuild has made a big difference, i was hoping it would given the cost ! , i keep toying with the idea of changing the wheels, but I like the D90s and I've read they are the lightest, so therefore the best ?

Next job, i think, is going to be H&R coilovers with the swaybars, that's for 2013, and then in 2014 a new carpet as that is looking a bit on the scruffy side.

Driving those roads every day, wow, no problem getting up for work then !

Cobalt. cloud9 I very nearly bought a 944S2 in Cobalt about 12 years ago from Wilmslow OPC. It was blue everywhere, blue dash, blue seats, blue headlining! It was lovely and fooking mint! 35k miles.

We just couldnt get to a deal. Bought a 968S from a Ferrari dealer (Aston) instead.
