They have a great reputation on both sides of the Atlantic and have been involved in a number of very high profile restorations of significant Ferrari's

I haven't bought from them (difficult at the moment as located in Switzerland) but James C has been very helpful and informative. Facilities looked superb when I visited. I'd certainly buy from them.

I've not pruchased through them but Phil and his service team are outstanding. Their depth of knowledge, attention to detail and reasonable pricing make them hard to beat. Phil in particular is also one of the nicest blokes around. He inspires considerable trust.

Very professional outfit, can't recommend them more highly, there is an ethos that runs right through the family and therefore by default the firm, I have used them a great deal and have always been impressed. Top guys.

A friend of mine knows the Cottinghams and says they're decent guys.
I did however see them in Arnage village at the classic in an F40 and an Enzo (at least according to my mate it was them!)
Wonder if it was stock!? Enzo did a burnout....

Great guys. I bought my GranSport from them, and just had it serviced there again. Fair prices, and they're happy to not do things that I can do myself like wiper blades to help me save a couple of quid without compromising quality. I'll be letting them sell my car in the next couple of weeks too.

They are not the sort of place to take the mick out of customers cars before an Internet rumour starts. Have known them for a very long time, good solid family business. Lots of cash behind them and very strong employees most of whom have come through from apprenticeship with them. No cheap by any means but you do get what you pay for from them IMHO

I didn't think 'most' of their guys had come through their apprentice scheme. Heard some funny stories from various people who have worked there.
Wouldn't take my car there. Just my opinion.

Wouldn't take my car there. Just my opinion. I've already posted above my DK service experience. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts. The reason I went to DK is because there is a delightful chap I know who has a huge collection of incredible Ferrari classics: like 250 SWB, 250 LM etc. He recommended them. I had used the same large main Ferrari dealer for 10 years, until recently. They installed s t fuel cells in my newly acquired F40 and continued to assure me the overpowering smell of fuel from my car was perfectly normal. They even had the car back to check. Rubbish and extremely dangerous advice. After 8 months desperation with the Ferrari network dealer, DK finally sorted the problem. They fitted different US made tanks. Quickly and reasonably. My friend's recommendation was indeed good. I speak as I find. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

I sold my 575 to them. The chap drove down to Bristol the following morning with a cheque. Chipped me a little for some paint, but they offered a fair and strong price in the first place sight unseen. All in all a very pleasant transaction. Next time im coming back for a Ferrari I would have no hesitation in working with them.

Good solid company. Met the owner about two months back. Pricey but fantastic workshops, he has his own personal collection of amazing cars, including some really rare racecars. Seen in person one of their pebble-beach entry restorations..fabulous...
