A few pictures from today's practice, just picked at random. Need to go through them all in more detail, then of course there will be more from Saturday and Sunday.

Hi there,

Well its that time of year again. Two days at the Silverstone Classic for me, lets hope Sunday's weather is better than Saturdays.

Great line up of races, highlights for me were the Fujifilm Touring Car race, and the Pre '63 GT race.

A couple of nice cars dotted around, particularly the stunning blue Morgan Aeromax and the gorgeous Diablo SV. Saw 5 Ferrari F40's around the circuit in various places, looking forward to see around 70 of them together on Sunday.

Morgan track event on the Stowe Circuit was great fun, those little three wheelers are really chuckable.

I have loads of pics to work through, but heres a selection to be going on with: -

The stunning blue Morgan

Very nice Diablo SV

Superb Aston Martin DBS

New BMW F10 M5 Course Car

The Morgans out on Stowe Circuit

Gorgeous Aston Martin DB4 Zagato

Austin Healey co-driven by rally ace Rauno Aaltonen

One of my personal favourites, the Jaguar D Type

Lovely Aston Martin DB2

Ferrari 250 SWB kicking up some dirt

Another Ferrari 250, this time in famous Ferrari Red

A wave from the passenger of this big old Bentley

Jaguar E Type with the new pits complex in the background

No modern traction control aids for this little Lotus

More E Types, well there were 35 of them in the E Type race

Touring car race was brilliant, heres a period Cosworth

and another Ford, this time a Mondeo

A Nissan Primera, there were 5 of these racing in total

A couple of BMW M3's

Probably the nosiest car of the day - BMW 635

Current BTCC driver Frank Wrathall was certainly pushing the Vauxhall Cavalier

Lastly - star driver of the day goes to Mark Wright, he had the tail of the Escort out round every corner

All the pics can be found on my Flickr stream here: - http://www.flickr.com/photos/83131142@N03/sets/721...
